Mt Hood and Mt Adams surround us

Dalles stop to learn about the effects of the dam we'll visit next. This used to be a major fishing and trading spot. All now submerged along with a waterfall which would be below us. Kent tells us that once they closed the dam it took only six hours to cover the falls and village.
